Day 1 – Arrival in Buenos Aires
Our transfer service will meet you at the airport and accompany you to your hotel. Arrive early to explore the streets of Buenos Aires and familiarize yourself with this bustling metropolis. Or if you are looking for some culture, take a look at the program of the ‘Teatro Colón’.
Day 2 – Buenos Aires: City Tour and Tango
Enjoy the highlights of one of South America’s most charming cities. Opt to watch dancers perform tango in the streets of the colourful neighbourhood La Boca, admire the governmental palace La Casa Rosada (“The Pink House”) on Plaza de Mayo, or enjoy the bohemian atmosphere and antique shops of cobblestoned San Telmo.
In the evening, opt to take a tango class and learn all about the traditions and rules of the Milonga (the local tango dance saloon) while trying out your newly acquired skills on the dance floor.
Day 3 – Buenos Aires to Ushuaia
Transfer to the airport and board a flight to Ushuaia — "the end of the world". This will be your base for the next couple of days.
Day 4 – Ushuaia: Beagle Channel
Explore the famous Beagle Channel by boat. Depart Ushuaia Bay en route to Les Eclaireurs lighthouse. Pass by several islands inhabited with wildlife such as seals and unusual birds. Disembark on one of the Bridges Isles, and follow the trail down the island. These archaeological remains offer extraordinary flora and fauna to view.
Day 5 – Tierra del Fuego
Explore Tierra del Fuego National Park. Get familiar with the local flora and fauna with a walk through the forests. Continue by canoe down rivers and lagoons to get to famous Lapataia Bay.
Day 6 – Ushuaia to El Calafate
Transfer to the airport and board a flight to El Calafate. This will be your base to visit the Perito Moreno glacier. Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure, or opt to do a short horse-riding trip along the Argentino lake, or to visit the Glacier museum.
Day 7 – El Calafate: Perito Moreno Glacier
Visit the world famous Perito Moreno glacier. Today’s excursion takes you right onto the ice: put on your crampons and start your short hike over the glacier. In the afternoon you will stand right in front of the immense ice wall of the Perito Moreno glacier and can see and hear how big blocks of ice break off and crash into the water of the lake below.
Day 8 – El Calafate: sailing on the Argentino Lake
Sail down the Argentino Lake surrounded by immense icebergs. Witness the Upsala glacier, the largest in the lake. Continue to the Spegazzini glaciers, the tallest in the park. The last glacier you will see is the Perito Moreno.
Day 9 – Flight to Bariloche
Transfer to the airport and fly to Bariloche, the largest city in the Seven Lakes district. Upon arrival, pick up your rental car. Opt to visit Cerro Cathedral, the most famous area of Bariloche, or visit Mount Cathedral, a popular winter sport destination.
Day 10 – Bariloche
Explore Bariloche, or opt for a catamaran trip along Lake Nahuel Huapi, from Puerto Pañuelo to Blest Port. Stop at Centinela Islet, where Francisco P. Moreno is buried. Once at Puerto Blest, explore the neighbouring area or opt to visit Frías Lake. There, you can sail its vivid green waters and enjoy the views of Mount Tronador. Spend a second night in Bariloche.
Day 11 – Bariloche to San Martin de los Andes
Experience one the most famous drives along the Seven Lakes area. Known for its stunning panoramic viewpoints, this route connects Bariloche with Villa La Angostura and San Martin de los Andes, crossing two different national parks.
Day 12 – San Martin de los Andes
Relax in Lanin National Park. Opt for a boat trip through the region; departing from the jetty for Lago Nonthué, visiting Chachin Falls and Hua Hum. Or opt to drive to the border at Hua Hum along a picturesque 50km road along the north shore of Lago Lacar.
Day 13 – San Martin de los Andes back to Bariloche
Drive back to Bariloche. It's recommended you take the route along Neuquen River, in the direction of Junin de Los Andes. Pass through an entirely different environment alongside flood plains, rivers and volcanic rocks.
Day 14 – Flight to Iguazú
Drop your rental car off at the airport and fly to Puerto Iguazú. Transfer to your hotel.
Day 15 – Iguazú: Argentinean waterfalls
Get close to the falls as you wander around the Argentinean side of Iguazú Falls. Stand just a few meters away from the “Garganta del Diablo” (Devil’s Throat) and witness the falls plunge into a depth of 84 meters (276 feet). Opt to take a boat tour that brings you extremely close to the water falls.
Day 16 – Iguazú: Brazilian waterfalls
Visit the Brazilian side of Iguazú Falls and enjoy a complete panorama of the 275 falls that plunge into the depth spanning almost 3 kilometres (or 1.24 miles). The Brazillian side is smaller, thus you only need half a day for the visit.
Day 17 – Iguazú
Enjoy a free day in Iguazú at your leisure.
Day 18 – Iguazú to Buenos Aires
Transfer to the airport and board your flight back to Buenos Aires.
Day 19 – Departure from Buenos Aires/ Return home
